SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGE #14

Hello!!

I was asked to join a new DT this week at

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGES

The theme is always 

ANYTHING GOES

So without further ado here is my DT inspiration for you...

I made a birthday card using papers, dies and embossing folder from

SARA SIGNATURE COLLECTION ENGLISH COUNTRY GARDEN

from CRAFTERS COMPANION

I love this collection!

I embossed a 6x6 white base card

Then I used one of the edge dies and a sheet of the paper from the 6x6 paper pad.

It was half wood effect and half patterned.

I made a double bow in pink glitter ribbon 

Put 3 white pearls opposite the bow

Die cut a flower using one of the flower dies from the collection.

Stamped a sentiment using a freebie stamp in my stash.

This is my inspiration card for this challenge...

I printed papers from the free cd rom that came with Crafters Companion Inspiration Issue 11.
I also printed a sheet of toppers and stamped and die cut leaves. Lastly I stamped a sentiment using one of the free stamps.

Here is  my inspiration card....

I covered the front of my base card with a paper from PION DESIGNS from my stash.

I used a CHRISTMAS GREETING strip from the same collection under the image.
I used a Christmas bauble in chipboard with a piece of red and white twine through the top.
I placed the coloured image on the front of my card.

CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - AUGUST CHALLENGE

Hello again!

I just love creating Christmas cards.
Today I am here with my halfway post for August's challenge at
CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND

This challenge blog was re-opened by the owner,
DEANNE CLARKE-SAUNDERS
and the challenges are doing extremely well!
So a huge thank you to all our entrants so far.

This challenge started on 01 August with the theme
BRIGHT COLOURS
And this is my inspiration post as part of the
Christmas Belles DT

Here is my inspiration card

I made a CAS card for this challenge.
I covered the front of a 6x6 base card with a pretty pale yellow paper from my stash, then I matted and layered the front of the card in the same pale yellow card matted onto silver mirri card

I die cut a 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from the new
SARA SIGNATURE CONTEMPORARY CHRISTMAS COLLECTION...
a fabulous collection! and placed it in the centre of the card front.
I placed a bow in ivory ribbon in the top left corner, a tiny piec of holly on the sentiment and added some tiny pale yellow pearls to the centre of the flowers on the sentiment.

And thats my DT card for this time.

THE CRAFTY ADDICTS FACEBOOK GROUP CHALLENGE #10 - ANYTHING GOES/BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL

Hello there!

Here is my inspiration post for the August challenge at
THE CRAFTY ADDICTS FACEBOOK GROUP

Here is my inspiration card...

 

I used some really pretty turquoise papers FORGET-ME-NOT from my stash.

I matted and layered 2 the front of a 6x6 base card with co-ordinating papers from the pad.
I wrapped a pice of blue ribbon around the card and adhered it to the back before sticking the mats in place. I tied the ribbon in a knot to the right side and placed a blue sparkly gem in the centre.
Then I made mats from the same papers but made them a good bit smaller.
I decorated with a topper, tag, resin bird, sentiment and 2 butterflies fussy cut from the papers.

And thats my DT card for this time.

LET'S CRAFT & CREATE CHALLENGE #116 WEDDING/WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Hello lovely people!

We have a new challenge starting today over at
LET'S CRAFT & CREATE

The theme for this challenge is....
WEDDING/WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
There is a lovely prize up for grabs too so come along and join in!

This is my inspiration card for this challenge...

I chose to use papers and dies from SARA SIGNATURE COLLECTION - TOGETHER FOREVER.
This is a beautiful collection and fitted the challenge theme perfectly.

I mbossed part of the front of a 6x6 white base card, then matted two layers,one in silver, the other in a foil embossed paper. Before adhering it to the card front I wrapped a piece of ivory lace around the bottom edge and put a thin white ribbon across the top.
I die cut the CHAMPAGNE GLASS and the CELEBRATE sentiment.
I used a diamante and pearl heart, which I purchased from the CRAFTERS COMPANION store while I was on holiday. I also used a white teddy bloom from PETALU and leaves I had in my stash.

And thats my DT card for this time.
