I love making Xmas cards.
The theme for this challenge is PATTERNED PAPER.
My DT project for this week.

I used a printed image from THE PAPER SHELTER to make this 6.5x6.5 card.

MIX IT UP CHALLENGE BLOG

The challenges at MIX IT UP will run for a whole month,

with a midway post on 15th with more inspiration from our DT.

You can enter up to 5 projects in our challenges and combine them with as many 

other challenges as you wish.***

All our challenges will be 'ANYTHING GOES' with an optional twist. 

Your projectscan be anything, cards, ATC, Mixed Media, 3D Projects, Altered Art, papercrafts

and/or scrapbook layouts. We want to 'mix it up'!

The challenge will close at 6pm EST (11PM GMT (UK time)
on the last day of the month.

This challenge -   

ANYTHING GOES
with optional twist DISTRESSING - INK/TOOL

This is my inspiration project for you.

 

 I started with a 6x4 kraft base card with fold at top.
I layered with two different papers, distressing the edges of both layers with a distressing tool.
I took several die-cut toppers, distressing those too,
placing them at various places on the top layer.
I stamped a sentiment on to kraft card and die-cut it with a stitched tag die.
I tied a piece of twine in a bow and placed it over the hole on the tag.
I used 3D glue gel on all the toppers.

THE MERRY XMAS CHALLENGE - #25 RIBBON

I was very honoured to be asked to join the DT for

THE MERRY CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE!

I love making Xmas cards so of course I said 'Yes'!

So my thanks to Janis the challenge owner.

And here for you is my first DT post!

The theme for this challenge is RIBBON

I love the Scandinavian Christmas themes so that is what I chose to do.

I started with a 5.5x5.5 kraft card base with fold at the top.

I used elements from a paper pad in my stash filled with toppers and embellishments...

with a Scandinavian theme. Perfect!!

I finished off with a small red bow on the tag sentiment.

I hope you like what I did.

JUST FOR FUN...

Hello lovely people!

I wanted to get some practise in on my colouring skills.

I have been purchasing classes over at KIT & CLOWDER for over two years!

I have not completed one single class!

I am not lazy just bothered really my work will not be 'good enough'..

How many times Alyce has said never to think that way lol.

So its time to get down to it!

This card is 'just for fun' and not part of any class.

The image is from LACY SUNSHINE - its RORYS CATTAILS

I used Copics to colour her.

I think she turned out pretty well and I am happy with it.
