Today Im sharing my card for DRAGONS LAIR FANS GROUP challenge.
The challenge was to make anything using a verse stamp.....
This is what I came up with....

I layered 4 different card designs from my stash...
I put the verse onto a piece of white card and layered it onto plain red card. I added some silver peel off borders around the edge of the verse card and put some holly in the bottom corner.
Then I added a vinatge Santa picture from my stash, cut out a half Xmas tree from the Couture Stylish Xmas Collection from Create & Craft.
Lastly I added a fabric poinsettia from Petaloo.

Sponsor for this challenge is THE CUTTING CAFE
The theme for this challenge is Ribbon or Twine.

For my DT sample this challenge I used
which can be purchased from THE CUTTING CAFE website.

I cut the file on my Silhouette Cameo.
I used plain white card from my stash for the base of the card.
I cut the pieces from various patterns in ITS A GIRL 8 x 8 paper pad by Cavania (Karen Sanders).
I added a string of pearls to the base of the balloon and some pink bows to the basket and balloon.
I cut out one of the 'ITS A GIRL' tags from the pad and tied some twine through it.
I added a small sentiment tag, made a bow from twine and added a paper rose on top.
On the inside of the card I added a banner sentiment, WITH LOVE TO YOU.
All the embellishments I used came from my stash.

I hope this gives you some inspiration to enter our challenge and I look forward to seeing all your creations.

My DT sample for this challenge is a simple birthday card.
I used a lovely floral card from one of the GRAPHIC45 collections to mat & layer the base card.
I used a flower edge die cut frame, cut out on my Silhouette Cameo, for the centre.
I added a sentiment to the centre of that frame.
I cut out some small flowers in the same pretty flower and white card as I used for the mat. I added a pink pearl to the centre of the flowers.
I cut out a delicate butterfly using the same flower card for the base and white card for the top layer.
I did the same for a bow, added a pearl to the centre of this also, then I placed it at the bottom centre of the card.
I added some tiny pink stick-on pearls to the body of the butterfly and more pearls to the top left corner of the card.
To finish it all off I cut out a card stand for the back of the card on the Silhouette Cameo.
I hope you like what I did.

I chose lace for my DT inspiration.

I made a small gift bag using a cutting file from Silhouette Store and cut it out on my Silhouette Cameo electronic cutting machine.
Its a very basic bag but you can do so many things with it and it is useful for those small gifts.

I used papers and various embellishments purchased from SCRAP & CRAFT
The lace flower on back was purchased from Brenda Exeter on Facebook...who sells fabulous ribbons and lace!
Flowers on the tag are from PETAL LU

Look forward to seeing all the entries!

For my DT inspiration I decided on a birdcage...

The cutting file for the birdcage was part of the Playful Parlour collection from SVG CUTS
The bird on branch and butterflies are from Silhouette Store
I cut them all out using my Silhouette Cameo (I love my Cameo)
The flowers & lace are from THE RIBBON GIRL
The ribbon is from my stash.

I added the flowers to the top of the cage and a bow made with the ribbon.
Around the bottom I added the cotton lace.
I cut out the little bird and sat him on the branch.
I also added one or two butterflies for decoration...
and some silk petals to the floor of the birdcage.

I am looking forward to seeing all the lovely creations for this challenge.

I used layers of maroon and black to create this car card.
I just used a plain, simple sentiment as it was a male card.
Men dont seem to like their cards too fussy lol.

I hope there will be lots of entries again this month
And I hope too my card gives you just a little bit of inspiration.

I look forward to once again seeing all your entries.
Good luck to all who enter!
