Hello once again.

A new challenge at SUNNY DAY CRAFTING today.

Well I am not sure my inspiration can be classed as 'FUN FOLDS' being an easel card...

but I think the toppers are fun so maybe that will count.

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGE #32 - SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

Well hello on this very cold, frosty day!

Today sees the start of another new challenge at

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING

The challenge this week is...

SCRAPBOOK LAYOUT

There is also the option to create a different project if Scrapbooking is not your thing.

Well I didnt think it was mine, and still dont lol.

But I wanted to give it a shot and see.

I had no idea what I was doing!!

I just laid everyting down on the main background paper and hoped for the best!

I really do not think I have picked up the concept fully of what I am supposed to be doing.

This was wayyyyyyyyy out of my comfort zone!

But I tried...and here is my result!

I have been told for a first attempt I did an excellent job.

I think they were just being kind LOL.

But thank you for the support, it is appreciated!

CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - REMINDER POST - JANUARY 2017 CHALLENGE

I just love creating Christmas cards.
Today I am here with my halfway post for JANUARY challenge at

So my DT project...last one for 2016.
Using FLUMP n TIC

 I coloured the image using Copics.
I made a 6x6 base card in white, layered the front in a pretty design paper.
I die cut the image to create a topper and coloured the background in a pale mint green.
I cut a piece of striped paper to make a diagonal layer under the topper.
Put a pale pink bow in the top right corner.
Stamped a 'Happy Birthday' sentiment onto a piece card cut into a banner shape and coloured the background again with mint green.
And thats my card.

I love these pads.

REMINDER FOR DECEMBER CHALLENGE - CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND

Here is my inspiration card

A 5x7 card turned sideways.
Wrapped a piece of black and white striped ribbon around piece of black card,
cut slightly smaller to fit front of card.
Rounded the corners on the image topper.
Image was colored with Copic.
Put a stamped sentiment on the topper and placed black sticky pearls in the corner.
And thats my DT card for this time.

This is my inspiration for this challenge

Just a simple 'Thank you' card.

I stamped the front of a 5x7 base card with a floral stamp and leaves.

I used black for the 'outline and blue for the inner shading on the flower.

The leaves I left as they were.

I used a piece of lace-effect border across the front and put a 'Only For you' sentiment on the left side with 3D glue gel.

And thats it!

I cut a scene from a sheet of paper in my stash, layered it onto kraft card

And stamped 'Merry Christmas' in the bottom left corner.

I decorated the inside with co-ordinating papers.

Hello lovely people!

This is my inspiration card for this challenge...

Just a simple little card this time.

I used a decoupage image I had in my stash. Perfect to send to a child.

I used a 5x7 base card, layered the front with a piece of red card cut slightly smaller than the card front. I placed the decoupage image in the centre, put a sentiment from the same decoupage sheet underneath and a small piece of holly in the top left corner.
And thats my DT card for this time.

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGE #25

Hello!!

Another week, another challenge at

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGES

The theme as always is

ANYTHING GOES

Loved the way this one turned out.

I cut out the bauble base card and two patterned paper layers on my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine. I cut the base card out twice and glued together to make a firmer base.
I added the two patterned layers.
I die a star and small snowflakes from glitter card and a 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from matt blue mirri card.
Made a triple bow using a bow maker.
I slotted the paper border through the chipboard frame and glued them in place in the centre of the card. sat the Robin on the bottom of the frame.
I glued the small snowflakes in various places, the star at the top right and the sentiment on the left.
The handmade flower I put at the edge of the frame centre and the bow in the middle.
I tied a piece of gold elastic trim through the bauble holder.
Lastly I cut out a card stand with Cameo and glued to back of card.

This is what I created for my DT inspiration this time around..

These Polar bears are so cute!!
I made a 6x6 base card with cream card.

Matted and layered the front with two 'winter' effect patterened cardstock.

I wrapped gold ribbon around the mats before adhering to the front of the card.

I coloured the image with COPICS then used a die to cut it out.

I coloured a background on it then stamped an amusing sentiment underneath the image.

And thats my DT card for SheepSki Designs this time.

This is such a cute image and lovely to colour.

I started with a 6x6 base card using white card.
I layered the front with redcard cutting it slightly smaller than the front, then white card cut slightly smaller again. I cut another piece 4x4 of white card and placed it on the front of the card. I distressed the edges of the mat with the coloured image and stamped a sentiment in the top right corner. I placed three self-adhesive red pearls in the top left corner and a red spotted bow under the image.

This is my inspiration card for this challenge...

For this card I made a 6x6 white base card, layered the front with silver glitter card and embossed three quarters of the top layer with a snowflake design embossing folder. I die snowflakes from some of the glitter card and placed three on the front of the card. I cut a piece of the glitter card to fit across the part that wasnt embossed on the front and layered it with white card cut slightly smaller. I stamped a sentiment onto the front of it.
(When matting and layering I usually cut my mats one-eighth of an inch smaller each time.)

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGE - #20 ANYTHING GOES

Hello!!

Another week, another challenge at

SUNNY DAY CRAFTING CHALLENGES

The theme as always is

ANYTHING GOES

This my DT project this time around...

I created a 6x6 base card using kraft card
I cut 2 mats for the front of the base card, each one slightly smaller than the card front.
The second mat I embossed with a 'In the Forest' embossing folder from the AUTUMN MORNING COLLECTION from CRAFTERS COMPANION.
I adhered the mats to the card front then adhered a piece of Burlap from the same collectionacross the front of the mats.
I used the image AUTUMN DELIGHT from MISS DAISY STAMPS,
I printed the image onto white stamping card and I coloured it using Copic markers.
I used a die from FIRST EDITION to cut around the image giving it a 'torn' effect.
I adhered this to a piece of patterned paper slightly bigger than the die cit image using 3D glue gel to give some depth. I adhered this to the card front on top of the burlap.
There was a sentiment as part of the image download which I made into a banner. I shaped this to give a wavy effect and adhered it to the card front under the image.

This is what I created for my DT Intro post..

I hope you like what I did and it will inspire you to enter our challenges.

I made a 6x6 base card with kraft card.

Matted and layered the front with gold mirri card and a pale yellow patterened card.

I wrapped gold ribbon around the mats before adhering to the front of the card.

I coloured the image with COPICS then die an oval shape around it.

I placed a mixture of paper flowers in top right corner, made a double bow from the gold ribbon and adhered the bow on top of the ribbon using 3D glue gel.

I cut a sentiment banner from the yellow patterned paper and used a 'happy birthday' stamp.

I placed a heart shaped flat backed pearl at the right side of the banner.

And thats my DT Intro card for SheepSki Designs.

I created a 5X7 base card
I cut 2 mats for the front of the base card in different sizes using different patterened paper.
I used a Tattered Lace die for the lady.
I made a sentiment banner for the top left corner, added a bow to the side and a pearl on top of the knot.


A small self adhesive pearls to each of the 4 corners.

I just love creating Christmas cards.
Today I am here with my halfway post for OCTOBER challenge at
CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND

This challenge started on 01 OCTOBER with the theme
USE A LOT OR A LITTLE ORANGE
And this is my inspiration post as part of the
Christmas Belles DT

FRESH BREWED DESIGNS

Here is my inspiration card

I used lots of different 'orange' papers for this, some patterned, some plain.
I started with a 6x6 base card using kraft card.
I layered the front with gold mirri card cutting it slightly smaller than the front, then orange plain card cut slightly smaller again. I cut two pieces 4x4, one patterned, one plain and placed them on the front of the card at opposite angles, the plain piece on the top.
I coloured the image in orange too and around the edge and placed on top of the angled mats using 3D glue gel. I made a gold double bow in satin ribbon and put in the top right corner. I cut a poinsettia and leaves in gold mirri card, put it together using 3D glue gel then put some seed beads in the centre using 3D glue gel again. I stamped a sentiment onto a cream banner using gold ink and then shaped the the banner to give more depth.

And thats my DT card for this time.

I created a 6x6 base card like this...
Cut 2 pieces of card measuring 6x6ins,
Score across one piece an inch down from the top,
Fold across the score line,
Glue just the folded piece to the other piece of card to make the card base.
I cut 2 mats for the front of the base card in different sizes using different patterened paper.
Then cut a strip 6ins wide x 3ins deep and a smaller piece in blue card to fit on top.
I adhered these to the front of the card with 3D glue gel, placed a paper flower and leaves in the top right corner and an image of a vintage lady to the left side at an angle.
Glued a bow to the bottom right and placed a sentiment on the middle strip.
A small self adhesive pearls to each of the 4 corners.

WINTER WONDERLAND CHALLENGE - LET'S GET KRAFTY OR PLAID IT AGAIN SAM

Good morning one and all!

Another new challenge starts today over at

Here is  my inspiration card....

I created a Vintage style card this time around.

I used kraft card for the base, matted and layered the front in silver mirri and red card.

I die cut panels in a fancy shape for the front, smaller than the main mats and used foam tape to adhere to card to give it depth.

I die a bauble and ribbon enbellishment and put glitter in various places on it. Then adhered it to the card to the front. I used a Vintage style topper, adhered to a piece of red card and placed on front using 3D glue gel. I tied a bow in red twine and adhered to front using 3D glue gel.

Lastly I put a red self adhesive pearl in all 4 corners and a Christmas sentiment across the top.

And thats my DT card for this time.

Hello lovely people!

This is my inspiration card for this challenge...

I used a black base card turned on its side.
I cut the 'Halloween' topper on my Silhouette Cameo from a file purchased in the Silhouette Design Store. I matted and layered the front of the base card with orange and black card from my stash. I attached the topper with 3D glue gel. The leaves were from my stash.

And thats my DT card for this time.
