CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND - AUGUST CHALLENGE

Hello again!

I just love creating Christmas cards.
Today I am here with my halfway post for August's challenge at
CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND

This challenge blog was re-opened by the owner,
DEANNE CLARKE-SAUNDERS
and the challenges are doing extremely well!
So a huge thank you to all our entrants so far.

This challenge started on 01 August with the theme
BRIGHT COLOURS
And this is my inspiration post as part of the
Christmas Belles DT

Here is my inspiration card

I made a CAS card for this challenge.
I covered the front of a 6x6 base card with a pretty pale yellow paper from my stash, then I matted and layered the front of the card in the same pale yellow card matted onto silver mirri card

I die cut a 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from the new
SARA SIGNATURE CONTEMPORARY CHRISTMAS COLLECTION...
a fabulous collection! and placed it in the centre of the card front.
I placed a bow in ivory ribbon in the top left corner, a tiny piec of holly on the sentiment and added some tiny pale yellow pearls to the centre of the flowers on the sentiment.

And thats my DT card for this time.

THE CRAFTY ADDICTS FACEBOOK GROUP CHALLENGE #10 - ANYTHING GOES/BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL

Hello there!

Here is my inspiration post for the August challenge at
THE CRAFTY ADDICTS FACEBOOK GROUP
The theme this month is
ANYTHING GOES/BRIGHT & BEAUTIFUL

Here is my inspiration card...

 

I used some really pretty turquoise papers FORGET-ME-NOT from my stash.

I matted and layered 2 the front of a 6x6 base card with co-ordinating papers from the pad.
I wrapped a pice of blue ribbon around the card and adhered it to the back before sticking the mats in place. I tied the ribbon in a knot to the right side and placed a blue sparkly gem in the centre.
Then I made mats from the same papers but made them a good bit smaller.
I decorated with a topper, tag, resin bird, sentiment and 2 butterflies fussy cut from the papers.

And thats my DT card for this time.

LET'S CRAFT & CREATE CHALLENGE #116 WEDDING/WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Hello lovely people!

We have a new challenge starting today over at
LET'S CRAFT & CREATE

The theme for this challenge is....
WEDDING/WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
There is a lovely prize up for grabs too so come along and join in!

This is my inspiration card for this challenge...

I chose to use papers and dies from SARA SIGNATURE COLLECTION - TOGETHER FOREVER.
This is a beautiful collection and fitted the challenge theme perfectly.

I mbossed part of the front of a 6x6 white base card, then matted two layers,one in silver, the other in a foil embossed paper. Before adhering it to the card front I wrapped a piece of ivory lace around the bottom edge and put a thin white ribbon across the top.
I die cut the CHAMPAGNE GLASS and the CELEBRATE sentiment.
I used a diamante and pearl heart, which I purchased from the CRAFTERS COMPANION store while I was on holiday. I also used a white teddy bloom from PETALU and leaves I had in my stash.

And thats my DT card for this time.

I just love Christmas cards and making them.
So I was very happy to be asked to join the DT of
CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND

This challenge blog is being re-opened by the owner,

So I am really excited to be a part of the team!

The first new challenge started on 01 July with the theme
ANYTHING CHRISTMAS/HOLIDAY
And this is my inspiration post as part of the
Christmas Belles DT

Here is my inspiration card

I used the image SNOWMEN TRIO image.

I embossed the front of a 5x7 card with a Christmas baubles embossing folder.

I added some glitter glue in various places, placed a red bow on each of three baubles in the embossing. I coloured the image with Copics, die cut it out with a circle die.

Then placed a stamped Christmas sentiment in the bottom left corner.

And thats my DT card for this time.

THE CRAFTY ADDICTS FB GROUP CHALLENGE #9 ANYTHING GOES/USE A SENTIMENT

Good morning!

Here is my inspiration post for the July challenge at

I chose to use the image
TAIL OF TWO KITTIES

Here is my inspiration card

I used some oddments of card from my bit-box.

I matted and layered 3 pieces of grey floral card and put them in place using foam pads.

I wrapped some beige twine around the top mats several times and tied it with a bow.

I placed the imade on top again using foam pads..it was coloured using Copics.

Lastly I placed a sentiment in the top left corner again using foam pads.

And thats my DT card for this time.

WINTER WONDERLAND - LET'S SEE A XMAS TREE

Good morning!

Here is  my inspiration card....

I started with a 6x6 base using white card.
I matted and layered the front with a blue & cream PION DESIGN Christmas paper from my stash.
I used a CHRISTMAS GREETING strip from the same collection and a topper. I also used a vintage Christmas tag. I placed both the topper and tag behind the greeting strip. Finally I placed a red bow under the greeting strip and a piece of handmade Holly in the top right corner.

And thats my DT card for this time.
